I touched a barbell for the first time at age 37, and it changed my life.
As I began getting stronger I discovered I could do things I never thought possible, including writing about fitness for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Slate, and NatGeo.Ā
Now at age 52, after 15 years of lifting weights, I've discovered a new passion: helping women age 45+ establish a regular strength training program that will keep them strong and healthy in midlife and beyond.
